God is Looking For More Than Mere Lip Service!

We are living in tumultuous times, and we are living in a day of rapid change. Our world seems to be changing at breakneck speed, and many of the discarded values of the past seem to be passing away at the same rate. Amazingly, it would also seem that a true reverence for a Holy God seems to also be on its way out with many people. Why has God been made commonplace in this day? Why do so many view God as a, “Whatever We Do Will Be Good with Him” God?

Jesus is a Habit Breaker!

The New York Times did an interesting article on black pastors who pastor churches that have suffered considerable attrition by accepting gay members. The gay lifestyle has been in the church since the Bible Days. This is no new phenomenon, but the acceptance of the practices, and behaviors of gay members from the pulpit is a very new concept!
